Digital Learning Inventory
During the eight-week online course, TGC participants were asked to create a "Digital Learning Inventory" of their schools. Several questions were asked to determine how teachers might use technology to enhance global learning. Below is the list of relevant tools and software at Naperville Central High School. Attached is the specific questions that were asked during this week of the course.

Multi-use tool for posting information, hosting classroom material, creating wikis and discussion boards. Great delivery tool as well.
Comic LIfe
Have students transform ideas, processes, narratives, timelines into comics.
Google Docs
Allows students to collaborate and communicate using word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software. This is free
of charge.
MovieMaker
Allows students to create and edit their own videos.
PhotoStory
A quick and easy way to create animated slideshows.
Skype
Connect to classrooms and experts around the world using this video-conferencing software.
Twitter
With district approval, twitter is a powerful tool for communicating with students, parents, and the world!
United Streaming
Allows teachers to access and download video clips and full movies from Discovery Education.
YouTube
Though an obvious tool for classroom use, YouTube can also be used during assessment or as part of a flipped classroom using websites such as CrashCourse or Khan Academy. With district permission, YouTube can also be used as a presentation tool.
